The founder of our brand and owner of the original CarCave located in Zonhoven, Belgium with a long history as a wheelman who defined the term, “need for speed” at an early age. He loves speed but cherishes the experience of driving a variety of classics. No Bluetooth; no problem. You will find him always enjoying the moment with family and friends. Although his love for Italian cars is admittedly getting a bit embarrassing.
Christopher is the driving force behind CarCave USA in Aiken, South Carolina. His passion for cars shapes the core of this enterprise, creating a haven where automotive enthusiasts find their dream vehicles. His lifelong fascination with motorized wonders leads him to explore everything from drop-top convertibles to rugged 4x4s and high-performance cars, seeking exhilarating experiences on the road.
His five children are regular companions on his automotive adventures, sharing his love for diverse cars and recognizing the unique appeal of each vehicle. Beyond merely running a business, Christopher cultivates a lifestyle at CarCave USA, where fellow enthusiasts come together to celebrate the diverse world of automobiles. His dedication transcends the showroom, infusing every vehicle choice and community interaction with an infectious passion for the automotive realm.
Pieter is our chief mechanic and longest tenured colleague. The heart and soul of our operation. A man who has worked on cars for as long as he can remember. Legend has it he was born in a 66 Super Snake during a hot lap at Nürburgring. He’s probably forgotten more about cars than most of us ever knew with the hands to prove it. A true self-taught petrolhead with a high aptitude for mechanics.
Our Cypriot was a born car fanatic and proprietor of our Cyprus location. Emre’s formal American education came at a cost; and we are not talking tuition. He developed an undeniable love for American cars and embraced the lifestyle. Now he spends his days cruising around, sharing the love, and fulfilling enthusiasts dreams all over the country. You will find an assortment of cars in Emre’s personal collection from Germany, Japan, and of course the USA.
Mieszko, hailing from Poland, embodies the spirit of both a skilled craftsman and an adventurous soul. For the past decade, he has breathed new life into weathered Defenders and various 4×4 vehicles, drawing from a lifelong fascination. His journey began with dirt biking, where he honed his skills before delving into engineering, culminating in a mechatronics engineering degree. His expertise spans mechanics and electronics showcased through a remarkable project where a team of engineering students built a car from scratch, competing in Australia’s World Solar Challenge.
In his workshop, Mieszko orchestrates the revival of classic 4x4s and Defenders, using his welding and fabrication skills to infuse these vehicles not just with functionality but also with unique personalities that reflect his passion. Beyond work, he finds solace along Croatia’s Adriatic shores and traveling throughout the Balkans.
