With the faux wood sides, and the tan leather and Cumberland Cord fabric interior, you won’t have to put on the miles to take a trip through nostalgia.

Originally purchased in September 1989 from Lincolnton, GA, this vehicle was then traded in to Gerald Jones Honda of Augusta on Gordon Highway about a year later – the 5.9L V8 was too thirsty for the original owner’s daily commute. Purchased by Mr. Cole in December of 1990, this vehicle was kept by the same family for over three decades. The only upgrades made to the vehicle are the Kenwood KDC-X302 headunit and the Kenwood Excelon 5.25” speakers — so you can listen to Rick Astley via CD, USB, or Bluetooth.

Luxury straight from the last century, the faux woodgrain dashboard and door panels sport switches for power windows and power locks. The front bench seats three, with an optional armrest that can be folded down to separate the driver and co-captain seat, both with power adjustment functionality. The original carpet and carpeted floor mats maintain their original shag-ocity, and sunvisors hide lighted vanity mirrors. These Grand Wagoneers are considered the first true luxury SUV, a result of Jeep’s refinement of the FSJ platform over the years, and the twilight years built by Chrysler are considered some of the better assembled versions.

This Wagoneer starts easily with its recently rebuilt carb, ready for cruising down the interstate. Switch between 4WD and 2WD with the NP229 “Select-Trac” transfer case featuring full-time all-wheel drive, with a low-range option for off-road adventures.
