A professionally rebuilt 5-speed Ford Type 9 transmission handles shifting duties and sends power to a rebuilt English Type rear axle fitted with fresh fluid and a master rebuild kit.<\/p>\n
Suspension has been enhanced with Koni shocks, Superflex polyurethane bushings, a larger rear sway bar, and lowering blocks. The chassis was reinforced with new rear chassis legs, custom bracket fabrication, and additional undercarriage restoration. The Escort rides on 15” Compomotive ML1573 alloy wheels wrapped in brand-new Hankook RS4 performance tires—225\/45R15 front and 245\/40R15 rear.<\/p>\n
Inside, the new black high-back sport seats with tilt and height-adjustable mounts were custom-fitted, while a SaBelt steering wheel and auxiliary gauges maintain its rally background. A Kenwood KDC-W241 head unit powers aftermarket speakers.
