Topped with a custom Mohair soft top and Safety Devices roll cage underneath, this Defender not only exudes rugged sophistication but also offers the ability to remove the top for some fun in the sun. Dressed in the trendy shade of Desert Sand, it captures a modern shade with the essence of heritage roots, turning heads at the beach or on the trail. The front bumper and rear crossmember are painted to match providing a seamless look to the vehicle’s design. A well thought out build matching black accents, metal finishes, and complimentary browns for a complete balanced palette.<\/p>\n

Equipped with 255\/85R16 BFG Goodrich Mud Terrain tires, you can confidently tackle the most challenging obstacles, knowing you have the right rubber keeping traction in sand, rock, mud, or snow. This Defender would be perfect to hit the beach, trails, or slopes. Imagine rolling around in your board shorts with your flippy floppies with the wind blowing through your hair. Illuminate whatever your path may be with upgraded LED headlights—and know that path can be enjoyed with a full crew. This Defender has legal seating for 9. All of the lights have been upgraded to feature clear lens LED including marker, turn, brake, reverse, and fog. The rear reverse and fog lamp are a 95mm NAS style keeping a symmetrical look on your rear end. The updated light system includes Maypole Safari Lights upfront and LED work light out back, ensuring safety and visibility even in the darkest of nights.<\/p>\n

The Safety Devices integrated roll cage is dual purpose and acts as a frame for the soft top. We are confident in Safety Device’s products. The NAS Defender for the US market came factory built with a SD cage which went through rigorous NHSTA testing. So step aboard with confidence knowing your are protected. Every detail of this Defender exudes quality and style, from the machined aluminum hardware, color matched steel wheels, and plated bare metal finishes. The interior and exterior door handles and pulls are custom machined aluminum for an upgraded construction and look. Oh and the gas cap matches too, with a custom black machined finish!<\/p>\n

Inside the cabin, luxury leather finishes abound. All seating surfaces have been redone in saddle leather complete with a square stitch insert throughout. The upper and lower dash plus the steering wheel were finished in matching leather. Throughout the Defender you will find custom built wood flooring surfaces for an added touch of elegance. A well designed cubby box features a removable USB speaker for on the go music in and out of your Defender.<\/p>\n

Your comfort and drivability is paramount when out cruising the coast, which is why this has a fuel injected V8 backed by a faithful LT85 5 Speed transmission. The engine and gearboxes were all rebuilt as part of the restoration process. Approximately 1000 miles have been put on this Defender since the restoration, including a few road trips. The Holley Sniper screen is perfect to monitor your engine vitals.<\/p>\n
